Dover Qualifying Report – Erik Jones Starting 13th

The NASCAR Cup Series headed to Dover International Speedway this Saturday for another double header weekend. The results of Saturday's Drydene 311 will determine the lineup for Sunday's race following a 20 car invert. All events prior to the race, including practice sessions and qualifying, remain cancelled in an effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19 at the track among crew members, drivers, and track personnel. NASCAR is continuing to implement the new method of determining race line-ups that factors in each driver’s finishing position from the previous race, ranking in team owner points and the fastest lap from the previous race.

Erik Jones in the No. 20 Toyota Camry will be starting in the 13th position for Saturday's race. The starting lineup was determined by a random live drawing that was aired on FS1's "Race Hub".
