Erik Jones and the NO. 43 Medallion Ban k Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE team finished in the 10th-place in the NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube at the Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway on Sunday, March 7.

Jones started the event at the 1.5-mile track in Las Vegas, Nev., from the 29th-place on Row 15.
The 24-year-old Byron, Michigan, native was scored as high as the sixth-place at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
“It was a really good day for Richard Petty Motorsports in the No. 43 Medallion Bank Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE. It was a good day to build on – way better than last week at the Homestead-Miami (Fla.) Speedway. We are really headed in the right direction. Our team tried a lot of different things this week, made a lot of different changes and it is just nice to see them pay-off to get a top -10 finish. That was definitely our goal for today, I felt like. Hopefully we can keep building on that and continue to get better and better each week.”
