ERIK JONES, No. 20 Sport Clips Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing

Finishing Position: 7th

“A good top 10 run. Thanks Sport Clips for coming on this week and running with us at Richmond for the iRace. We made a pit call there to stay out on tires and got towards the front. We ran second for a while, but lost a little track position there at the end. Good run for us and I’m happy we could get up front and contend for a little bit. Continuing to try to work on it and get close to the front and hopefully in the next couple of weeks we’ll have a shot to win one of these races.”

Additional Notes:

  • Jones finish of seventh is his best finish in the eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series toping his previous best finish of 10th at virtual Homestead-Miami Speedway.

  • This was Jones fourth race in the eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series.

  • With the eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series following the original 2020 NASCAR Cup Series schedule, teams now head to virtual Talladega Superspeedway for round five and the first superspeedway race of the series on Sunday, April 26. The race will be broadcast on FOX and FOX Sports 1.
