From the Driver’s Seat:

Erik Jones: “Pocono has been a good track to us. It’s kind of a unique place, obviously one of a kind. We don’t really go to another track like it. We go there twice a year and its two opportunities to win a race and we’ve had some solid runs there over the last couple of years. Just need to focus on that, adjust to the new package and hopefully position ourselves like we have the last couple of times with an opportunity to be in the top three at the end of the race.”

From the Pit Box:

Chris Gayle: “We had our strongest race in Pocono last fall and have been consistently getting better as a team at this race track. I also feel like we have a really good handle on what we need to do to make this new aero package race well at all the intermediate tracks. So it’ll be challenging and exciting to go to such a different style race track with the new aero package. I think restarts could be really exciting and we’ll see guys three maybe four wide thru turn one. It’ll be very interesting to see what kind of drafting situations and runs guys can get on each other at this type of race track. I feel really good about the weekend and look forward to getting some laps in the race and putting the quick exit at Charlotte behind us.”
