News: Fontana Qualifying Report
The NASCAR Cup Series took to Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California for the second leg of the west coast swing. Erik Jones and the No. 20 Reser's Toyota Camry team are coming off a 23rd finish in Las Vegas and digging deep for speed this weekend. In the two practice sessions on Friday Erik averaged a speed of 174.537 and made adjustments to prepare for the single car, two-lap qualifying session. Erik Jones will be starting the Auto Club 400 in the 29th starting position.
On Sunday the NASCAR cup series race field will take the green flag at 3:30pm ET, broadcast on FOX.
