Clays for Causes raises funds to support the Erik Jones Foundation. Founded in 2021 by NASCAR Cup Series Driver Erik Jones, the foundation’s mission is to change lives by igniting children’s passion for reading, encouraging early cancer detection and care, and promoting animal welfare.

In honor of National Reading Month, Erik has compiled a selection of twenty-five children's books that he's explored through his #ReadwithErik initiative, now available for auction online. Proceeds from the auction will directly support his foundation's mission. As an added touch, Erik will pen a short personalized note within each book for the winning bidder. The auction will commence on Monday, March 18th at 5:00 pm (eastern) and conclude on Saturday, March 30th at 5:00 pm (eastern). Don't miss this exclusive opportunity to acquire a cherished book for yourself or as a thoughtful gift. You can explore the collection and place your bids here.

Erik Jones Foundation Brings "Busload" of Fan Engagement and Sun Safety to Championship Weekend, Sets Record in the Process

The Erik Jones Foundation partnered with the Sun Bus, a Denver, Colorado-based non-profit organization, to bring skin cancer screenings and sun safety education to the NASCAR Championship weekend at Phoenix Raceway. The Sun Bus, a mobile clinic and classroom with the flexibility to target select audiences at significant events engaged fans, members of the NASCAR industry, and speedway volunteers throughout the weekend. Hundreds of people took advantage of the opportunity to have their skin checked for suspicious lesions indicative of skin cancer. Throughout the weekend, 245 people were screened, with 109 referred for follow-ups with their local dermatologists.

The "Window of Hope" program is an annual fundraiser supporting early detection and care of breast cancer.  Proceeds (minus auction fees, shipping, etc.) will go directly to promoting early breast cancer detection with an emphasis on uninsured women. This includes the Atrium Health Levine Cancer Institute’s Project PINK. Project PINK was established to increase access to life-saving mammography screenings for uninsured women in Charlotte.

Thank you to all who participated in this year's Window of Hope auction!
