From the Driver’s Seat:

Erik Jones: “I’m looking forward to getting to Las Vegas this weekend with our Sport Clips Camry and figuring out the new rules package there. The west coast swing should be really good for us. We’re going to see a different kind of racing this weekend at Las Vegas than what we saw last weekend in Atlanta. It’s going to take some time to figure out how we’re going to need the car to handle, but Chris Gayle and the guys will be ready and hopefully we can continue with our top-10 finishes and contend for the win at the end of the day.”

From the Pit Box:

Chris Gayle: “The 20 team learned a lot in the first race with the 2019 rules package in Atlanta. Las Vegas is a totally different race track style from age and track abrasiveness and grip, but a lot of the information we learned can still be applied to Las Vegas. We also have some great information from our teammates getting to test in Las Vegas for the off-season. So this is another great chance to add to our notebook for the new rules package and hopefully contend for the win. Las Vegas was the track that we got our pole last season, and a lot has changed from a rules perspective, but we’re planning to carry all the speed we had last fall over into this weekend’s event.”
