Las Vegas Qualifying Report – Erik Jones Starting 13th

Las Vegas, NV is hosting the NASCAR Cup Series this weekend for the South Point 400, the first race in the playoffs round of 12. All events prior to the race, including practice sessions and qualifying, remain cancelled in an effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19 at the track among crew members, drivers, and track personnel. NASCAR is continuing to implement the new method of determining race line-ups that factors in each driver’s finishing position from the previous race, ranking in team owner points and the fastest lap from the previous race.
