News: Kentucky Qualifying Report – Erik Jones Starting 16th
The NASCAR Cup Series is headed to the 1.5 mile Kentucky Speedway this weekend for the Quaker State 500 on Sunday. NASCAR is continuing to implement strict protocol and safety measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19 at the track. All events prior to the race have been cancelled, including practice and qualifying, due to these precautions.
Erik Jones in the No. 20 Built in Georgetown, Kentucky Toyota Camry will be starting in the 23rd position for Sunday's race. This will be Erik's 4th start at Kentucky Speedway, bringing with him an average finish of 5.3. The starting lineup was determined by a random live drawing that was aired on FS1's "Race Hub".
