Roval Qualifying Report – Erik Jones Starting 14th

The NASCAR Cup Series is bringing it home the weekend to the Roval at Charlotte Motor Speedway. This is the final race in the NASCAR cup series Playoff's round of 12. All events prior to the race, including practice sessions and qualifying, remain cancelled in an effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19 at the track among crew members, drivers, and track personnel. NASCAR is continuing to implement the new method of determining race line-ups that factors in each driver’s finishing position from the previous race, ranking in team owner points and the fastest lap from the previous race.

Erik Jones in the No. 20 Craftsman Toyota Camry will be starting in the 14th position for Sunday's race. This will be the third time all NASCAR cup series drivers will race on the challenging new road course at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
